Speed Williams and Allen Bach win Tucson Team Roping...Trevor Brazile Takes Al Around Championship
Tucson, February 24, 2008 -- Speed Williams and Allen Bach each took home $4,996.00 for the Championship win at the 2008 Tuscon Rode.
Trevor Brazile earned his second consecutive Tucson tie-down roping championship and took home the Lynn Beutler Award as Tucson’s all-around champion. Brazile of Decatur, Texas, who also competed in team roping, picked up a paycheck for $6,047 for his efforts in Tucson.
The top 12 competitors in each event competed today with the best aggregate times or scores for the nine-day event earning the event championship. Perfect weather and a sell-out crowd of 11,000 capped off a star-studded rodeo for the 83rd time in Tucson.

San Antonio, February 19, 2008 - The numbers are in, and more people than ever came out to the AT&T Center to take in the thrills and spills at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo.
Single-performance records were set on eight days, and the overall attendance for the 19-performance event was a record 1,300,513, a nearly 8-percent increase over last year's final overall tally of 1,204,417.
